Characterized by its stable economy, strong infrastructure, and qualified human resources that guarantee the ease of investment in the country, the Sultanate aims to encourage, facilitate and expand national and foreign investments.

As part of the Oman Vision 2040, the government is working on finding a new national income that supports oil revenues and supersedes it in the future. Accordingly, the country’s economic development policy emphasizes the expansion of non-oil sectors such as agriculture, fishing, industry, and mining in its bid to diversify the economy and diminish dependence on oil exports.

The 5th Oman AgroFood Exhibition and Conference, under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture & Fisheries Wealth, will be held from 4 – 6 December 2023 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre.

This key annual gathering will bring together key government decision-makers, international thought-leaders, regional trail-blazers and innovative technology and solution providers to transform the sector and make the Sultanate’s ambitious vision a reality.
